We operate our business appropriately in line with the JFE Group Privacy Statement.

Ⅱ. Statutory disclosure under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information

We disclose the following information as stipulated by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter the “”Act””):

1. Purposes

The purposes of using personal data we collect are listed as follows, besides those notified or disclosed to principals upon or after collection of such data.

3. Joint use of personal data

Personal data in our possession may be jointly used as stated below.

Types of personal data that may be used jointly– Company name, department, title, individual name, contact information (e.g. address, phone number, fax number, and email address), and other personal data provided by a principal necessary for relevant business purposes
Parties who may use personal data jointly– JFE Engineering Group companies
Purposes of joint users– Proposals and provision of appropriate services to customers by the JFE Group as a whole
-Business negotiations with business partners in procurement activities, etc.

4. Procedures for “”a demand etc. for disclosure etc.”” under the Act

  1. Subjects of disclosure etc.
    Demands for the following matters made pursuant to Article 32 of the Act will be accepted.

    Purposes of use (Clause 2, Article 27 of the Act)
    Disclosure (Clause 1, Article 28 of the Act)
    Correction, addition, or deletion (Clause 1, Article 29 of the Act)
    Suspension of use or deletion (Clause 1, Article 30 of the Act)
    Suspension of provision to a third party (Clause 3, Article 30 of the Act)
  2. Where to file a demand etc. for disclosure etc.
    In principle, please file a demand etc. to our person in charge of your account to whom you provided your personal data.
    If there is anything unclear, please contact us as instructed in the “”Contact”” clause below and the department in charge will contact you.
  3. Documents and information to be submitted for a demand etc.
    After receiving your demand etc., we will send you a list of document(s) we need you to submit.
    In the case of a demand, etc. filed by an agent, you will also be asked to submit a proxy etc.
    For your reference, below is the typical flow of a demand.
    1. Filing of a demand etc. for disclosure etc.
    2. Reception of a list of documents and information necessary to proceed with the demand etc. from the company
    3. Payment of a fee (only if applicable)
    4. Submission of necessary documents to the company
    5. Confirmation by the company (as necessary)
    6. Response from the company
  4. The fee payable for a demand.
    We charge 1,000 yen per demand for “”purposes”” and “”disclosure.””
    Any actual cost required for payment, e.g. a bank charge, shall be borne by the principal.
